Your loan application process.

First, your lender will require certain documentation from you, depending on the type of loan, your work history, type of employment, etc. Before making an appointment with the loan officer, please collect the following documents:

1- If you are self employed, tax returns for the past three years and year to date profit and loss statement plus all documentation from item #3.

 

2- If you are an employee, please bring a copy of your W-2 forms for the past two years, most recent pay-stub from work. Last pay-stub from previous employer if you changed jobs within the past 2 years.

 

3- If you own income property please bring copies of rental agreements, tax bills, insurance declarations pages and other items suggested by your loan officer.

 

4- Landlord information if you are paying rent.

 

5- Copies of most recent bank statements including blank pages.

 

6- Information on other accounts like IRAs, 401K, money market accounts, mutual funds, cash value on life insurance, etc.

 

7- Authorization to request a copy of your credit report. We'll provide.

 

Any other information pertinent to the loan application. Your loan officer shall give you a list.

 

IF YOU HAD CREDIT DIFFICULTIES IN THE PAST, LIKE BANKRUPCY, COLLECTIONS, JUDGEMENTS, OR  DIVORCE, etc. please make sure you clearly document the reasons, and the steps you took to their final solution. Please  bring documentation like Complete Divorce Decree, Bankruptcy papers, Bankruptcy  Discharge Notice, Social Security Award letter, proof of Pension Award or whatever applies to your case.
